House to celebrate the donation of Stony Hills/Jamar Haven, a 196 acre Nature
Preserve which is the second largest privately owned Nature Preserve in Illinois

 

When: Saturday, October 24, 2009  

 

Time: 2:00
to 5:00 pm

 

Schedule of Events:      
2:00 pm – Registration and Refreshments

2:30
pm -  Welcome, brief introduction about
the PLC, acknowledgement and thanks of land donation and welcome

3:00
pm – Nature Walk through the prairie and woods (prairie seed collection,
time/weather permitting)

5:00
pm – Event wrap up

 

Directions:  From Dallas
 City: Take routes 9/96 towards Pontoosuc.  Turn left on Leisure Lane Road (CR1430E) and
go to the top of the hill.  Turn right at
the first road.  From Niota: Follow
routes 9/96 towards Dallas
 City.  Turn right on Leisure Lane Road (CR1430E) and
go to the top of the hill.  Turn right at
the first road.
