Hello FIGgies,
this evening I embarked on a project intended to drum up interest in FIG's tomato plant distribution on June 27th.
I walked around the south west quadrant of Macomb between 7 and 8 pm photographing vegetable gardens.
Click on the following link to take a look at the pics:

Do you recognize any of these vegetable gardens?
My goal is to assemble a collection of photos of 100 (or more) vegetable gardens over the next few days and then submit an article to the Macomb Journal before I leave town on June 17th.
The article will discuss my observations of vegetable gardens in Macomb, invite people to submit photos of their gardens and announce that FIG will be distributing ~ 400 tomato plants during the Heritage Day parade.
perhaps some of you would like to help with this project by send me photos of your garden or other vegetable gardens in Macomb.
Ultimately I think my Macomb vegetable garden photo collection will only have 1 photo per garden.

On a different note, the Heritage Day tomatoes are continuting to grow rapidly and I have begun transplanting them into paper cups. I have transplanted about 60 so far.
Let me know if you would like to help with transplanting.
