[FIG-ALL] end of summer

Hello
All good things must come to an end, and that is the case with my summer
vacation. I am returning to my other job as a biology teacher at SRC, so
the weekly emails and deliveries will be on hold until next summer. That
does not mean the end of fresh, local food though! My friend Shannon and I
have lots of tomatoes that are working on ripening, and once they do I will
send an email to announce their sale. We will have a lot of delicious
heirloom varieties. I also have some items still available at my farm on a
u-pick basis - cucumbers, tomatoes (cherry and yellow lantern now, others
once they ripen), herbs, flowers. I will be putting my greenhouse to work
over the winter to produce fresh salad all winter long, and there should be
plenty of that to sell. I teach at the Havana SRC campus on Fridays, so I
will still be stopping by the Fornoff Farm Market once a week to pick up
eggs, honey, pork, and what ever produce they have for my family. If anyone
would like to call Fornoff's and place an order I would be happy to pick it
up for you while I am there. Please let me know if you would like to come
out for u-pick or if you have an order at Fornoff's for me to pick up for
you on Fridays. I'll send another email when the tomatoes are ready and
when I have fresh winter salad from the greenhouse.
Thank you for making this a great first summer at my farm and I look forward
to seeing all of you again soon.

Kristy
