[FIG-ALL] local foods on a local excursion

Hi all,

Kristy Boggs is a professor of environmental science at Spoon River College. She has a small grant to lead a weekend trip to Emiquon for about 20 people (families and couples welcome) and was wondering if someone from FIG might want to help her develop a menu and source the food locally.  The meals would be simple-- as the excursion involves camping, canoeing, and touring Dixon Mounds.  If you are interested in helping outline a menu or source the food locally... for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and breakfast.... let me know and I'll send more details.  If you wanted to help prepare the foods, that would also be possible, though there would not be compensation.  You would get to go on the excursion however.... which sounds very fun!!  Right now it is scheduled for the weekend of Sept 27/28.
